Some of my favourite gaming memories are playing the classic Playstation era Final Fantasy games (7-10), and so I found this game incredibly cozy. I didn't expect to like this game, I bought it on a whim because of the diorama art style. But it was great! I enjoyed the story, the music, the characters, and the gameplay. It feels like a AA game, something I've come to expect from mobile games that get updated for PC, so don't set your expectations too high. Give the game a try when it is on sale and I think you'll be glad you did.
