I'm a huge Disco Elysium fan. This might be an unpopular take, but to me Zero Parades is a tighter, sharper exploration of many of the ideas I loved from DE. Zero Parades is every bit as weird and surprising as DE, but it strips away some of DE's slower, clumsier mechanics. I connected with the characters more, felt more propelled by the plot, and I loved the game's climactic scenes.
