This game is fantastic. The card game genre is hurting at the moment (if you do not like the direction magic is going) but this one is a true gem. Some reviews label it as "too hard" but knowing the mechanics and playing smart will get you there. I lost my first two games then won my next two on standard difficulty and I am no genius. Card art is lovely and music is atmospheric. I give it five out of five hell rats.

A unique deckbuilder that rewards adaptation over attachment. At first, Decktamer's difficulty scaling can seem absurd, especially on higher difficulties. But this is a very different game from Slay the Spire or Inscryption, where you build a deck and grow attached to your cards. Decktamer is more like a multistage rocket. Your starting creatures are the first stage: they get you off the ground while you assemble…

Has potential but is not fun. You get punished for trying out new builds and new teams. Honestly 90% of the fights are fun, but the boss fights at the end arent fun. They are less of a challenge and more of they have too much health, do too much damage and has broken abilities. Most of your units will do in one hit to them. You have to build a perfect counter team. It would be more fun to get rewarded for trying out…
