This was a very surprising VN. “Love in the Glen” is about an interior designer called “Zoe Richardson”, who the player controls. Like most visual novels, you go through the story making choices and decisions for her and then watch her destiny unfold in front of your very eyes. In that sense there is nothing new and it’s what you’d expect from a Visual Novel. Not that that’s a bad thing, if you buy a chocolate cake…

+ Liked the inclusion of the match 3 mini-game (though what it has to do with interior design really is a mystery) + Unusual setting for a VN + I liked the inclusion of a f/f route + Variety of characters with unique backgrounds - Very short (I completed all endings in 57 minutes and the rest of the playtime is idling for cards) - Boring story (you don't really do much aside from go out to eat and go to work) -…
