I don't think it's fair to review bomb Fantasy Life i just because LEVEL-5 is starting to use AI, especially since there is no evidence this specific game was developed using AI. Fantasy Life i is a wonderful game with a lot of charm. The gameplay can be repetitive, but the variety keeps it fun. Just like in the original, you can be a knight one minute and a cook the next. Good fun game. Lots of silly humor, tons of grinding, lots of making numbers go up. The top end of the game gets extremely grindy. Do not sleep on Ginormousia, raising all areas to Rank 5 is the key to smooth grind later.

I feel cheated out of my money. Let it be known, I went into this game thinking it was a successor to the 3DS game, "Fantasy Life". The 3DS game still holds up as, dare I say, the best RPG on that system. This game is alright. I prefer the 3DS game, though. Since then, Level5 claims to be "80 to 90% AI usage".
