I am not going to lie, the start was hard. I was about to drop the game, but there was something that hooked me. You need to check all the guides the game has from the start; there are no easy starts and no hand-holding. I will start off by saying I love the hardcore and creative aspects of this game - tipping its hat to RPGs from the 90s. The aesthetics are also unique and kept me engaged. However, the combat becomes very repetitive and story is almost Soulslike in its ambiguity. When combat in an RPG is lacking, the story is usually what keeps me engaged; therefore, I eventually had to put the game down after losing interest.
