I originally launched Montaro for one reason: 🐕 the cute profile background 🐕 That was it. Then the achievements started flying at me like I had accidentally hit an achievement piñata. So naturally I thought: "Well… might as well 100% it." Big mistake. Montaro is adorable, but insanely frustrating. If you look past the "doggo" hype that's somehow still going strong a decade later, Montaro is a poorly executed game with clunky, unresponsive controls and an endless stream of repetitive obstacles. The gimmick of stealing girls' "pantsu" as your health mechanic certainly doesn't do it any favours, either.
