Confession: I served in combat as an infantryman yet after only 5 minutes into Blue Effect I got jump scared so badly that I ripped off the headset and went directly to bed... If you need yet another wave shooter like you need another hole in your head then head out to Office Max and pick up the Swingline Head-Sized Hole Punch because this is one of the better and most polished early-release games to be released…

So far its a great start!! Its spooky and dark and has great creepy sounds.The critters are spooky and look great.The game plays great on a 980 ti 4790k 16gig system.All it is really missing is stuff going on outside the building in this first area you are in.I would add things crashing around maybe some fighting noise and lights from gunfire.Also would give more of a back story then just the guns/light...Something…

Not much "game" and only 4 levels; it's a sub-par wave shooter with robots in exchange for the usual Zombies, but it grows old real fast. They did nail the "horror" aspect though! And the graphics (lightning esp.) are quite good.
