There are two ways to look at this: At its $60 asking price, it's a joke. This is something of a budget game with low detail graphics and a very short 7 levels. At the $18 on sale I just got it for, it's fine. Not great. Fine. And realize I've played a few hours on Switch previously, so my 1 hour at review time is not all I know of this game. I've played the older Sonic Wings/Aero Fighters games when I was a kid (even though I'm admittedly terrible at them). I would rank Reunion as an okay title in the series. It does the bare minimum to qualify as a Sonic Wings game but falls far short of what is expected of one, especially in 2026. I purchased this game for $17.99. Sonic Wings Reunion feels like a 3D knockoff of the original Sonic Wings franchise. The first game that I played in the series was Sonic Wings on the SFC back in 1993. The game feels very generic compared to the original sprite work. Using the analog stick the game feel very stilted and not really responsive. I recommend using a Dpad or an arcade stick. On the plus side, Sonic Wings…
