About the game

Containment Initiative is a local co-op VR shooter which can be played by two people on the same PC. Kill zombies alone in VR or have a friend cover you by using the mouse and keyboard. Features include realistic weapon reloading as well as a variety of unlockable guns, upgrades, and loot to find.

As a game, it's like a student project, pretty unpolished, but still a decent basic shooter. Where this actually shine is the COOP where you can use VR at the same time someone plays on the same PC the VR is running on. That should be a thing in more VR games. I recommend it to encourage development team or person, but it needs more polishing.

Bought this specifically for the local co-op gameplay and I must say that it has delivered. The reloading mechanics and having a friend cover you all provides great gameplay stories and presence. I played for about an hour with two VR newbies and we had a blast. Keep on refining this game- I think you're on to something unique with the zombie shooter genre. When I saw this game, and the description and trailers I immediately thought "Man this looks pretty cool! And it's really affordable!" I got this game on sale for $2.49 and while it was fun at first, it left way too much to be desired for me to play it any longer or stick with it for any reason. Don't get me wrong.
