This game is really good. The levels are expertly designed to test your mastery of the few controls you have. In that sense, it plays like an oldschool game. The boss fights as well are really good. I found them to be much better than they usually are in older games. At first a lot of them seem impossible or random but once you get the rhythm of the fight down they're so much fun. This one actually kind of disappoints me. It is extremely frustrating to play. It purposefully takes the most obnoxious design elements of the 80s arcade quarter-munchers and blends them all together for you here.
