y'know i wasn't really expecting anything groundbreaking, but this game does a lot right for a pretty simple premise. i had this one sitting in my wishlist for quite some time and only really bought it because it was on sale, but im glad i did. its both surprisingly charming and really competent! the graphical style is awesome, blending 2D and 3D quite nicely where its welcome, and the thing that i found most…

Good for 5 hours or so. Good stuff, but the grind seems to slow tremendously once you get through a handful of runs. I'm guessing I was supposed to battle the bosses more to unlock a bit, but the routine to reach that gets old fast. The enemies are pretty vanilla. The price is right, all the same. Give it a shot if you like survivors-like games
