So, this is one of those things where there's a super strong game model at the core of this. Mixing Turmoil (tons of fun) and Dome Keeper (tons of fun) was an inspired choice. Gorgeous game, and from the screenshots it looks like it does have some more variety later on, but the pacing in the beginning is so bad. The combat feels terrible - being forced to get hit? that's just such a bad experience for the player.
