UMIGARI is a first-person harpoon fishing game set in the foggy waters off the coast of Japan. Hunt fish with your harpoon, sell your catch, buy fuel, and upgrade your gear. Alone at sea, the more you explore, the stranger the fish become.

Recommended
A pretty simple horror fishing game with easy enough to figure out mechanics that still manages to keep things fresh with new ideas for things without getting too complicated. For the most part the game is relatively chill with just some bits of body horror thrown in and some rare moments of pure tension to keep you from feeling too safe. That said the stakes are pretty low, even the "boss fights" aren't too bad…

100 min in and an absolute stunner of a game! We really need more of such games! Engaging, fast-paced when required and perfect! Cant wait to finish this.

until the bugs are fixed i cant recommend this game. the shark not spawning after the mortar (tried multiple resets), and the resets making me lose all of the seashells are both terrible and cant decide which is worse. sad because it was a very enjoyable game until that last stint.
