About the game

Someone knocks at your door every day. You decide who to help, who to turn away—and what it costs. A slow, atmospheric narrative game set in 1934, full of choices, guilt, and quiet desperation. Every choice changes the game.

Current day was really something I was looking forward to playing and it really lived up to my expectations. The game leaves me thinking after every choice if I did the right thing, or if I just screwed up my entire run. Different visitors, different choices, everything you do matters, it's not just on the first layer, you think you're doing well and then suddenly, you're starting all over again. I couldn't help but…

The game is fun and atmospheric — short, but definitely worth playing. I really liked the branching choices and the music, which fits the mood very well. The only downside for me was the font choice, which felt a bit distracting. Still, a good game overall.
