I got the original Assetto Corsa when it was a very early access demo. You could immediately see and feel the potential it had. I bought it and all DLC as soon as they became available. I bought several keys for the Ultimate Edition to gift to friends. I've paid for mods for it. The point I'm making is that AC was made by very talented and wise people. Started playing this again after the 0.6 update and despite the tyre wear currently being disabled for tweaking, the game is phenomenal so far. Some of the default car setups could use some work and the game still lacks some basic features but the physics and handling in general are clearly where all the love have gone so far. Honestly, it's not even simulation of driving a rally car, but not really a proper rally game. The rear wheel drive cars don't handle like a vehicle from planet Earth. There is no career mode, or seasons or competition yet. There are a very small number of stages, nice as they are, unless there are going to 300+ stages dropped on release, it's always going to be lacking. You can't even do a proper rally at this…
