The first hour was actually pretty fun. Chilling with friends, crafting stuff, building a base... everything was going great. And then I discovered the most annoying bug in the game: IN USE. Normally, "IN USE" means that someone is currently using the object. Makes sense, right? Well... apparently not. ...2.5 hours in and I’m convinced Dig Island is less of a game and more of an unpaid mining job. The grind is fucking ridiculous. You spend ages smashing away at the same shit for scraps of progress, and somehow every tiny upgrade feels like youre counting sand. I kept waiting for the “okay, now it gets good” moment... It never came. Just more digging. more farming. more grinding. more wondering why I’m voluntarily…
