I'll keep this short. You're almost certainly looking at this game because you already played Steamworld Dig and want to know if you'll like the sequel. (If you aren't, you should probably play the first game, it's good, cheap and brief). Yes, this is a worthy successor. Great game. platforming and mining mechanics were well built upon from the first game, lots of fun enemies and a enjoyable albeit simple story. great music too. Difficulty id say is rather easy unless you are deliberately going out of your way to make it hard with stuff like optional difficulty modifiers you can discover which really mix things up. its a really fun adventure start to finish with some great puzzles.

This is one of the most annoying games I have ever played. It doesn't register button clicks so you sometimes need to double tap a key, other times it auto activates. There's a grappling hook that goes where you look yet my finger is through my keyboard to look UP and yet I'm shooting to the right for whatever reason. All the story is is a bunch of fetch quest.
