About the game

Good classic RPG. Controls take some getting used to, but the beautiful pre-rendered backgrounds, the fun dialogue, good music, and no pretenses about the story being more than generic fantasy, make it a joy to play. Silver knew what it wanted to be, but sadly got overlooked by critics comparing it to Final Fantasy 7. Glad to have the ability to play it once more. Summary: stopped playthrough (3h) I played this as a kid for a bit and wanted to see again what this game was about. Unfortunately Silver didnt age well. From outdated mechanics to sluggish gameplay even for its time back then, this is hard to recommend.
