A very fun combination of being liminally lost, while also being on a scavenger hunt for tags. The environment of the Japanese school is rendered quite well and I found to be immersive. I very much recommend if you like games with just the environment as the antagonist.

This is partly an essay and partly a game review. Let me start: I don’t usually enjoy walk simulators, except for those that capture atmosphere and immersion like no other. Nafuda should be under your radar if you’re looking for a no-time-pressure experience—something you can play on a late afternoon while listening to ambient sound. As a teacher, I find it compelling to see the beauty of nothingness in vast spaces…
