Played half of the game on my desktop PC w/ a controller and the other half on my Xbox Ally X both w/ aim assist turned off, much better experience than I had with the GOG version. From a controls perspective the game was absolutely playable on both (although not perfect, especially by modern standards) Fire Warrior still has a lot of charm to it, worth picking up if you enjoy 2000s shooters. An old game taking place in Warhammer 40000 with a bit of an unusual yet interesting idea: you play as a Tau Fire Warrior, which I can only suppose seemed a more interesting idea to the creators than having the players step into the shoes of a Tempestus Scion or something similar from the more elite forces that the Imperium can field... Not recommended
Even after using the config tool, I could not get the new kebindings to work. The default kebindings are bad enough to make the game nearly unplayable. This is a shame, as this was one of my favorite Warhammer titles when I played it back on PS2
