This is I think my favourite game I've played as an adult. I played it over a year ago now and I still think about it all the time. The music is amazing, and the world building is so simultaneously simple but completely immersing. Absolutely loved it.

Phenomenally creative deduction game by one of gaming's most brilliant minds, Lucas Pope. Don't be fooled by the black & white graphics, this is a top tier all-round experience unlike any other before or since. Strongest possible recommendation if you have even the slightest of interest.

This game is unique and has many positive qualities, but oh boy is it slow. If you have a low tolerance for games that make you sit and wait after you've already decided what you want to do, avoid Obra Dinn. You will spend much of your time waiting for animations that wear thin very quickly.
