It's... fine? I feel bad saying that because it's obvious a lot of passion was put into the game, but I came away a bit disappointed. The art and music are great in particular. I can't help but feel that it's lacking compared to something like Mina the Hollower or Shovel Knight as a retro inspired game. I understand that for the Best experience you need to play on controller but holy shit it feels like they didint even try to take keyboard controls into consideration. Something as simple as having the Esc key open and close the menu with out having to go into the settings to bind it would have made sence.
