About the game

Reaping souls of the dead and punching a clock might get monotonous but it's honest work for a Crow. The job gets lively when your assigned soul is stolen and you must track down a desperate thief to a realm untouched by death - where creatures grow far past their expiry.

A fine game, but hard to recommend compared to similar titles. The combat is basic, the story is fairly basic the enemies and enemy types have little variety, the secrets and extra exploration you do rarely grant you anything particularly worthwhile. The environments and art style are rather pretty though, it must be said! That isn't to say it's a bad game, not at all, but it feels like a much more beginner project…

I lack the vocabulary to properly review a game, but I absolutely loved Death’s Door and I’m looking forward to kind of forgetting it so I can play it again. I loved the exploration and combat, the art style, the music, the lore, the characters — basically everything. Just wish it was longer!
