First impressions: Grimrush is a boss rush shoot em up with a juicy amount of depth. Bosses have interesting, varied, challenging to avoid attacks. Although they cover a lot of space, all attacks have generous tells, so with some practice, every attack can be dodged reliably. For new players like me, taking a hit isn't too punishing hp-wise. When health bar of the enemy is running low, enemy attacks become overpowering, screen is filled with tiny objects trying to take you down and adrenaline kicks in, it's feels very intriguing.
