If you love the hex war hex style then you will like this. the combat is great and feels diffrent to the tank battle series in which i mean the pike and shot theme shines through and its not just a re skin. the campaigns are fun and some of the battles take place on large maps that allow for tactical movements and replayability. the only con is the music which sounds HORRID to put it bluntly but otherwise a great…

This is not a game with massive depth but then that's not really the point. It gives a good flavour of the time and the use of combined forces to manouvre and develop your position against the enemy. It plays fast and true and rewards the use of decisive tactics. A lot of fun as a 'light' wargame and set in an era not often visited elsewhere.

Battle of Nantwich 1644 section is impossible to win for the Royalist, therefore cannot complete the other seven battles. This has been noted in previous comments and i myself have contacted Steam and Hunted cow with no engagement or fixes. very disappointed in lack of customer care
