I really liked this game, it's beautifully illustrated and voiced, very introspective. But I have to admit that it requires a lot of patience, so I can't honestly recommend it to everyone.

I just finished Minute of Islands and I need a cuddle, not just for me but my inner child that grew up watching my mother do it all and thinking that was the norm and it wasn't. As I grew up I thought doing it all meant you're the hero, the one who people can count on and rely on, so I did it all too. Now here I sit an adult playing this wonderfully sad and beautiful game remembering the island my mother made of…

This game has a great soundtrack and a hauntingly beautiful art style and that's about it. Unfortunately, I was constantly irritated with the amount of times the controls are taken from me. The cutscenes and narrating are too frequent and way too slow that you have to wait 8 business days before you can proceed to the next task. But what frustrates me the most are the cutscenes that slowly pans the camera to show…
