When Humankind was released, it definitely had some issues, but its new take on the Civ formula scared Firaxis so much that they copied as much as they could with Civ 7. Don't be fooled by all the negative reviews! This game, especially in 2026 after updates and patches, is very worth playing. In fact, I don't know if I've ever been so absorbed by a 4x game, ever. A truly horrid experience to play. An example of everything wrong with the 4X genre. This game is neither enjoyable to play nor rewarding to partake in.
