ASRS is satisfying at every turn, with it's amazing chip-punk soundtrack and retro graphics. The gameplay is precisely tuned, evoking megaman and other platformers from that era. If you're looking for an extreme platforming challenge, this game might not be for you, but if a fun, retro styled adventure is what you're after, this game is perfect.

A Small Robot Story is a pretty fun and fast paced platformer that feels properly modular in its speed and playstyle, but it has a particular preference in that style. The boss battles are pretty fun and they scale in difficulty appropriately. Pros: The response time and fluidity of playing feels great. Yeah... NO. I'd write a more in detail review but I got to the second boss lost all 3 of my lives and noped out of this one. Since in a game requiring you to beat the game without damage once to earn an achievement I'm not putting myself through that kind of torture.
