While the soundtrack selection is definitely not what I would pick, as you get further in the game you will realize the levels gradually become handcrafted experiences rather than traditional "charts" like you would find in other rythym games. this is a lovely and lovingly made game. but it is NOT a rhythm game. it is a game about listening and responding to audio cues. it is a shame that the visuals are so gorgeous, because the game clearly incentivizes you to NOT look at the screen. the visuals have almost nothing to do with playing the game well, and often intentionally mislead you into playing worse. the only way to get better at this game is to…
