I've given 60+ hours of my life to this game thus far and now feel I have at least a credible opinion on whether you should play this. Many people have already commented that this isn't a city builder, but should be considered a rogue-lite with city builder elements. I would agree with this point wholeheartedly; ironically, while I feel this could be a turn-off for some folks, it's actually what keeps me coming back…

Insanely addicting game that understands that the best part of a city builder is the initial setup and reaching a point where it self-sustains enough to achieve certain goals. You have finite resources as well as a soft time limit and need to work out how to please your villagers, fulfil orders/missions and gain the reputation needed to "complete" the settlement. Its a nice game and I got lowkey addicted to it but I have to say, the fact that all citys are temporary and that progressions feels so slow makes this games incentive fall flat for me. I played 11 hours, the last 5 super locked in to try and be as effecient as possible and still everything took a while. At this rate, to get meaningful progressions you would have to play for like 100-200+ hours. I think its not for…
