This is one of the few Western games(and maybe the one with most of the essence of my comparison so far that I've seen, by far) that ever made me feel like I was playing Boku no Natsuyasumi/ぼくのなつやすみ(PS1). I had been searching that for over a decade now since my teens. delightful to remember(or start experiencing for the first time and in process of normalizing it) how it feels to not have a care in the world.

I played this game with my 6 year old daughter, and it was just about perfect. It was fantastic reading practice, had a lot of fun little collection bits, and an overall straightforward storyline that was predictable for me but exciting for a 6 year old. The narrative was full of tired tropes, the dialogue was skip-worthy, and the characters lacked distinct and memorable…
