Macrotis: A Mother's Journey is a delightful journey of a mother Bilby trying to return to her 3 children after being separated from them during a massive flood. It is a fine first effort by Turkish Developers Proud Dinosaurs and has deservedly won some awards. The raging waters carried Mrs Bilby deep underground and during her journey she meets a wizard who is willing to help her return home. However, they have to…

Fun fact: Bilbies are real and they look like trash bunnies. Macrotis: A Mother's Journey is a lovely puzzle-platformer with laid-back puzzles, colorful and pretty environments, immersive voice-acting, a great consistency in ludonarrative elements and a fun gameplay experience. The controls are pretty easy and tutorial is seamlessly embedded in the game. Great game for both fans and non-fans of this genre.
