One of the RTS games I found back in the day when I was looking for something Warcraft-like, and now, years later, I’ve finally managed to finish its campaign. While it clearly lacks the production quality of some of the bigger RTS titles of its era, it does its best to deliver a proper fantasy story. This is a hard one… Rising Kingdoms was, at time of review, released 20 years ago. I played it back then and still have the game box with me to this day. I was not particularly good at it back then, but a memory of it caused me to check Steam and sure enough it was there.
