At start it seemed to me like an ordinary boring roguelike, first 40 minutes was monotonous and grindy. I noted music (track of the first location actually) and good visual style. The game revealed itself after i beat first boss (which is actually not so spectacular from point of experience and gameplay) but then you got access to new areas with a new style and challenges. I don't often buy Early Access game, but I had a chance to try HyperParasite in London at Rezzed the last weekend, and yes, i had to buy it. Most times you get to the shop it feels like the special item is the same amount of gold as all the money on the map after youve gone through and destroyed everything.
