It took me an entire playthrough to "get" Hi-Fi Rush. Upon beating the game, and even still, I don't quite agree with its cult status. It didn't quite hit for me, which was surprising considering I liked all of Tango's other games. 1 hour in and Im already hooked. Everything on the screen is synced with beat and that's is so impressive. Update: man oh man, the combat system is S+, it is so satisfying and super exciting. The gameplay, art style are unique! Still now I don't have any complaint about this game. Everything about the game is so well made. I'd give it 10/10

As much as I respect the incredible work from the animation team, voice actors and gameplay divisions for Hifi Rush, unfortunately, the game ceases to hold my attention for long. The music based combat system is fun and rewarding, though the story doesn't seem to mirror those same sentiments I feel. The generic aspects clash against the creative aspects of the experience and doesn't result in anything I haven't seen…
