This game has a mind-boggling amount of features, modes, and options. I love how much variety the campaign mode has with its procedurally generated tracks and (intentionally) erratic AI driver behavior. This is a very chaotic game. Sometimes there are weapons, sometimes not. Sometimes only one driver has a weapon and no one else does, or one car might be huge, or a helicopter airstrikes the track, or the judges let…

The game engine is lovely, the driving is fun at first! The problem with the game, for me, is a lack of meaningful choices in the non-driving part of the game. There's progress you make, buying cars, upgrading your car, etc - but you're limited by one upgrade per track, and contingent on levels.
