A truly beautiful game one that made me cry, The sequel to this (A chamber of stars) is also quite extraordinary in that regard. The story, music and art are all such heavy hitters for me and the characters are all quite endearing (my favourite is creation).

I like the freaky music and graphics, but the gameplay is lacking. The exploration is slow and confusing, the fighting is confusing too, I would end up just pressing Enter over and over. I read a lot of good things about this game but just didn't have the patience to get very far. I suggest ditching the whole exploration/RPG approach, and use some sort of novel navigation that fits in with the weird theme.
