5,000 to 1,000 players in the first 3 months, 1000 to less than 100 players on avg at 1.5 years. The Dev was active and responding to like every single post and review on reddit, trying to save the game, super respectable, but the balance has never been right. A couple of my friends played as well, we're huge warcraft custom mode players, thought it would just be a fun tower defense game. They had the same issues…

The meta progression completely ruins the pacing. The game gates standard, viable runs behind mandatory unlocks, forcing you to lose repeatedly for the sole purpose of grinding out upgrades. By the time you finally achieve a win, it feels completely unearned, you can't tell if you actually played well or if you just brute-forced it through stat upgrades.
