I want to like this game. I really do. It has some excellent bones. The castle building is amazing. Most of the management elements are there. But there is one major breaking issue for me, and a host of smaller issues that probably shouldn't have made it to the 1.0 release. First and firsmost in the settler AI. It is bad. I *ADORE* this game. If you enjoy building and defending what you are building - This is for you! The music is beautiful. The upgrade paths are fun. I love catching and jailing enemies then converting them into citizens. Serves 'em right! The creativity to create castles, villages, or anything else I can dream up appeals to the creative side in me. Planning defense and training villagers to pillage invaders appeals…
