This is a tough review. On one hand, this game really does /nail/ the rogue-like metroidvania style. Explore rooms until you can't, find an upgrade, proceed. Bash your head into walls looking for secrets. Fight lots of enemies. But it also just... kinda falls flat on the weapon variety. It feels like you're being encouraged to 'experiment' with your weapon, but all in all most parts are just direct upgrades to what…

It's a fun game! This and "A Robot Named Fight" are the only two rogue-lites/likes that I am aware of that legitimately play as mini-metroidvania games. The level design in some rooms of this game can get a bit experimental, but it is a really solid experience overall. The aspect of making new weapons is so much fun, would definitely recommend
