This game was wonderful. I kinda dreaded the experience at first because I expected it to be like the Dagger of Amon-Ra, or to a lesser extent The Colonel's Bequest, where you could miss too much stuff, but I actually netted the best ending and a really high score on my first playthrough with not too much google-fu (I'm grieving rn gimme a break I could never FULLY rawdog a game like this). You need patience for…

It's exactly what it says on the tin, it's an old-school 16-color, text parser adventure game for the modern era. The graphics, gameplay, writing, and audio are all totally on point. However, for those who don't know what they're getting into with this style of game, you can absolutely die randomly and lose tons of progress if you haven't saved recently, and you will definitely need to replay the game multiple times…

ATP wouldn't recommend. I love the graphics, the story, and characters but the text parser is horrible. I've relied far too often on the hint guidelines just to get more information on exact wording to use. It doesn't register a majority of words, many that you would expect you actually HAVE to use. It really kills the enjoyment of the game.
