I'm no expert in twin stick shooters, but I love the visuals of this series. I tend to regard them as like the video game equivalent of a fireworks show. I put more playtime into the original XBLA version of this game at a friend's house like almost 20 years ago, but this is exactly that.

Played the hell out of this on the 360 when it came out. Great game. However the port isn't so good. I can't get it to run in a non-stretched version of widescreen, and sometimes changing screen resolutions causes the game to crash. There are also no online leaderboards, which is a massive shame as well. To a lesser extent, no achievements either. This version of Geometry Wars is only worth it to people that either…
