After nearly 2 decades, the originally Japanese exclusive Gamecube title "Mr. DRILLER DrillLand" would finally be made available in English for PC and as a fan of the previous entries in the series I couldn't be more thrilled to get this on sale. That being said, I should emphasize I was happy to get this on sale. While I had never had a chance to play the original it gave me the chance to finally experience this…

This game series has a longer history than people might expect. Back in the day, it was already a fun game on 1990s consoles. Total nostalgia if you were lucky enough to play it back then. The game concept is stunning, and I don't know any other arcade game that offers this kind of game mode or way of playing. Therefore, it totally deserves its place in gaming history. Highly recommended.

I wish I could "thumbs up" this but I think this is a really bad way to just play some Mr. Driller, because you have to engage with the extremely bizarre and clunky Disney World thing. If you don't like every mode of the game (and playing Hole of Druaga in particular is like living in a living nightmare) you simply are not allowed to advance to further levels of modes you may actually want to play. Good music though.
