Web swinging without web slinging Spider Ponds is a novel title, and a difficult one. Unfortunately, most of that difficulty stems from its awkward control scheme. I was on the higher end of the 45 minute runtime - it was a while before I realized the red flashing was hunger pangs instead of fear from croaking frogs. It's worth a shot at whatever price point you're comfortable with for 30-45 minutes.

The game's concept is fine, and it IS almost fun. Unfortunately, the slow pace and unreliable controls make it more frustrating to play than fun. I'm glad I beat it, but I can't see myself ever coming back to it.
