I remember getting this beauty in a bundle pack for my rocking gaming chair around 2009. Still till this day one of the scariest games I have ever experienced. I loved playing it so much on my xbox 360 but it's a shame I never got around to finishing it. Planning to do so when I play the remaster on PC sometime soon. Regardless I will still give this a positive due to the lasting impact it did on me as a kid.

A spectacular experience. When people say that the game is a classic and a masterpiece in horror, they are not joking. But what personally got me was the actively hostile atmosphere in it. The game feels uninviting and as if everything on Ishimura, including the ship Ishimura herself, wants you to die. Incredibly nerve wracking. Not recommended
I started playing the PC port a while back. I never actually finished it. When I played it a couple of years ago, one the primary reasons that I stopped and took a break was because of how often the game would crash. At this stage it should be known that the classic or 2008 version of this game no longer works on Steam and crashes on startup. Do not buy this port.
