However, I'm going to focus this review on the fictional characters and the historical fiction story created by ebi-hime. I love history and ebi-hime's writing but even with this positive mindset I enjoyed reading this novel even more than I expected. It's based on Marie Antoinette's incarceration. This is the weakest writing of Ebihime from what I've read so far. The characters have zero chemistry, Liliane is nothing but a shallow spoiled brat, yet Marius still falls in love with her.
