Tried it, did not have fun, asked for refund. TLDR; Shitty game mechanics make game unnecessarily harder and unfair for player. But if you like that then go for it. Otherwise go play Starsector or XCOM. Things that make this not fun for me: 1. Computer has a higher hit rate than me even when they have 35% chance to hit against my 75% chance to hit. Consistently.
