I’ve played Grim Dawn for years now. Still playing. No micro transaction, no ads and very stable. I play on linux (Fedora 44 currently). Game runs well, lots of fun, single player is my primary but the online community is still going strong. I play the content I’ve paid for with no rug pulls. Gameplay over graphics, have fun!

The Good: Grim Dawn is an absolute blast with a fast, punchy gameplay loop that makes you feel like an absolute god once your build comes together. The best part is the dual-class system and the massive Devotion tree—you can combine any two classes to test out crazy combos, and the build variety is just insane. Grim Dawn Forgotten Gods was peak aRPG design. However, the changes made with Fangs of Asterkarn make this game super not fun. Boss health has been buffed to make them not fall over in seconds. Okay, great. But now they also really like to oneshot your character. Or perma freeze you for a minute because you have about a billion different resists to feed and that's on like 3 items.
