A great arcade puzzle game with both single player and multiplayer modes, unlike most other puzzle fighters, the game is pretty readable even as a new player which makes it fairly easy to get into. The online mode has lots of custom settings and handicap options to even things out or make them really crazy. I've been playing this game on occasion since 2021 and...I'm still kinda bad at it? The mechanical depth of Petal Crash can NOT be understated. The central mechanic is easy to learn, until you find out it's hard to learn, and I'm not sure anyone can "master" it since there's so much to learn about it. But one thing it IS is very, very fun. To me, it's rare and special to have a game I played a long time ago stand…

In all honesty, there are some really good things about Petal Crash that it does very unique compared to other puzzle games. However... Even with that said, I do think there are better options for puzzle games out there. I'm not about to sit here and say the game is terrible because its not, despite my personal opinion of not recommending the game, there are puzzle game Enthusiasts out there who will give it a try…
